Ingrid Burnett from Old Northeast KC, currently on the KCMO School Board. She is also the wife of John Burnett, who represents the 40th district in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Jolie Justus of the Hyde Park neighborhood. She’s the director of Pro Bono services at Shook, Hardy, and Bacon (the tobacco industry lawyers) and the KC legislative chair for PROMO, Missouri’s gay and lesbian political advocacy group.
All three candidates are Democrats. No Republicans have filed yet in this traditionally Dem district. (Hat-tip to Todd Elkins)
Amanda Clark from North Star got paid some money according to the report from a 10th Senate District filing so the fight is on.
I think we will see others join this race before filing closes. I’ve heard rumors of some names, none definate. Anyone else heard anything?
