Outdated parking rules cost the city business

The city’s outdated, suburban-style parking ordinances are costing the city business. Caliente, a Cuban restaraunt that has been trying to open in the Crossroads for months, recently gave up and decided to head Village West on the far western fringe on the region.

Local TV notices Mayor Barnes’ uncomfortable situation of pushing for a tax increase she can’t vote for… (hat-tip to Tony for noticing the story)
KSHB-TV 41: Barnes can not vote for stadium tax.
