KC can rest easy now that we have an official Terrorism Early Warning committee, because our 10,000 rain gardens are too tempting for the terrorists to ignore.

Sounds like an oxymoron to me…. early warning and committee.
You know people need to give KC a little credit. If you think about it we have some large telecommunications companies that do reside in KC which could effect communication throughout the Midwest possibly the US. No, I am not a Sprint employee nor have I ever been. I am just tired of people not recognizing the attributes that Kansas City actually has offer. You know we are actually a “BIG CITY” contrary to other’s beliefs.
Kelly Cole has a point. Kansas City is a large regional hub and has some national importance.
But our small Middle Eastern population hardly escapes the scrutiny of either the FBI or the local rednecks. I’d assume Al Qaeda would look for cities where they could blend in.
Now natve-born kooks like Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols are another matter entirely.
