Mr. Fairfield; since it seems that you want to run for Mayor I want you to let the people to know why you won’t return any of my phone calls?
Moving the city foward. You should change that slogan to “Moving the city Slowly Foward.” If you can’t openly respond to my request regarding a letter of written response as to support or opposition to an Urban Core project that will create an estimated 260,000 new jobs for Kansas City; then how can you say “Moving the City Foward?” Becky Nace and Terry Riley gave me a response. Even Troy Nace gave me the courtesy of giving me a written response; and his was in opposition of the project. Is you failure to respond to me due in part that I am an African American? Or because of the project’s proposed location which is scheduled for the Urban Core of Prospect / Midtown; a predominately underserved / African American community. I am willing to bet that this reply won’t either be printed in its entirety, or you will do as you’ve been doing since June-no comment; no action, no response. Feel free to email me; or call. In case you fogot the number it is (816) 861-0311! Lamar Mickens. There is a meeting on November 18 at 12:00 noon at the Greater Monumental Baptist Church-2616 E. 39th Street-Rev., WL Posey, Pastor; come on down and tell us “black folks” why you won’t give us a written response to our request! Stop dodging me Fairfield, I need and the Urban Core needs an answer…
