Restarting Beacon Hill

May 15, 2006 |

The Business Journal reports that plans are afoot to restart the Beacon Hill project, which got caught up in the city’s housing agency meltdown.  The massive project for 400-plus houses and townhomes centered near 25th and The Paseo is one of the largest in the country.  If all goes well, construction could resume this fall.

Until we start putting the thugs in jail and taking crime seriously we will not have any livable areas in the metro. I can take a drive around town and watch people deal drugs and turn tricks on corners. The same people get arrested over and over and just come right back.

We need jails people, not arts centers and affordable housing, and rolling roofs. We need an administration that is tough on crime!
