I'm an Urban Newbie in the City Market and loving it! Moved from Waldo and brought my "common sense" with me! (go figure). I was hip to (and grateful for) bags and waste can from the Trolley Trail (I carried a grocery bags just in case there were no bags). This being said, even as a Newbie, I have two gripes... One, I pick up my BIG dog's poop! Do "little dog" people not get that think their little dog's poop is really shit? Two, I'm totally astounded when I see a pile one foot or less from the "receptable", I mean, "receptacle". That's just lazy on soooo many levels...

BTW, the new brick-like crosswalks are another hint to these new people. Oh, and ALWAYS use your turn signal so pedestrians, not just drivers, know what you intend to do.

When I lived on Washington in Quality Hill, my wife and I always complained about the parallel parking on Saturday night and Sundays. Seemed like the Mass-attenders at the Cathedral really struggled with proper car placement. We decided that all those JOCO cars were used to large parking lots.

i did notice that for a long while, though, that dog bag dispenser was empty. does anybody know who keeps track of those sort of things? ...the condo building owners? ...the city? it's a great idea; i hope they keep it up and install others around downtown (and maybe midtown!) as well...

There's even a dog bag dispenser and waste receptable right at 10th & Baltimore. You'd think that would be a hint. (The one in the City Market has helped considerably.)
