Balanca's liquor revocation hearing cancelled

Balanca's, in negotiation with the Regulated Industries Division of the City of Kansas City, Mo., Neighborhood and Community Services Department, agreed to a 21-day suspension, a fine and training for their owner/manager. The agreement was reached June 9. As a result, the Liquor Control Board hearing scheduled for June 29 to address the revocation request made by the Regulated Industries Division has been cancelled.

Balanca's, which is located near 18th Street and Grand Avenue, had been cited earlier this year for inappropriate and lewd behavior. In a hearing before the Missouri state Liquor Control Board, Balanca's received a 21-day suspension. The City's suspension will run concurrent with the state's.

One Response to Balanca’s spankful for reprieve

What’s this world coming to when a man can’t get a good old fashioned whipping with a well-handled riding crop? ;-)

If you go into Balanca’s looking to be offended, you will be. If you go in with an open mind looking to have fun, you will. I prefer the fun. Life’s too short to be that uptight.

I’ll admit dropping trow is a little bit over the top, but I’ve seen worse.
