Blogger detained at Governor’s office

Yesterday there was a nasty confrontation in Governor Matt Blunt’s office between two polar opposite wingnuts - Democratic blogger Roy Temple and Governor’s spokesman Spence Jackson. Temple had attempted to attend the bill signing for Missouri’s new photo ID voting law, but Jackson freaked out and compared him to Timothy McVeigh. The nominal issue was the validity of bloggers as credentialed journalists, but the underlying issue was a bitter rivalry between these two guys.
