Mayoral race taking shape

Councilman John Fairfield and Councilwoman Becky Nace have had web sites up for a couple of months now. This week the Star’s Buzz Blog reports on some behind-the-scenes developments.

First, Al Brooks has signed up political consultant Pat Gray, architect of the masterfully dirty arena campaign and most other local campaigns. Pat’s buddy Steve Glorioso is still uncommitted, and likely team up with either Katheryn Shields or Mayor Barnes’ heir Joe Serviss.

Second, Janice Ellis has put up a web site and signed up Luther Washington, who comes from Emanuel Cleaver’s mayoral and congressional campaigns.

One Response to Mayoral race taking shape

Joe Serviss and Glorioso do not get along – that’s not going to happen. Besides, I heard that Katheryn the Grate wants to be the next city attorney since she knows she can’t get elected any more.
