@BlogKCStanford and Sons Comedy Club is moving its last club from Johnson County out to Village West in KCK. When the Westport club closed to make way for Johnny Dare’s the Glazers said they’d be back in Midtown, but that promise has been abandoned. There were also brief discussions about the upcoming Power & Light District Downtown.
So beginning next year prepare yourself to drive halfway to Lawrence for the new Stanfords or halfway to St. Joseph for Zona Rosa’s Majestic Theater. Or stay in town and patronize the improv folks over at ComedyCity in Columbus Park.
Comedy clubs and mullets naturally go together, so it is probably a good move…
