Did the weather people over state the effects of this storm? Why not ask the people still stranded on I-70. It is easy to criticize from the keyboard of your computer.

Actually we’re still on for a foot of snow according to the National Weather Service.

I’ve stopped believing pretty much anything I hear from the local TV stations – supposedly the accident on 435W just W of the Triangle had Northbound 71 at a standstill, yet 5 minutes later I cruised right though – WTF?

At 5:30, instead of showing the CBS Evening News, they decided to stay with their wall-to-wall “Frozen Fear Fest™”.

And, who do they have to tell us about the road conditions? Gary Amble? Julie Broski? The High-Priestess of Precipitation Katie Horner?

Nope.

How about former shock-jock Randy Miller!!!

I can’t possibly think of anyone more qualified.
Perhaps he could take some calls and ask the drivers what they are wearing while playing fart noises…
