St. Lukes' primary health IT provider is McKesson. The Cerner product they do use is really a very minor component. Saint Luke's did win the Baldridge award a couple years back which is presented by the President.

Neal lives in Lakewood not Lock Lloyd. Also, why would he not go to "Truman East" Lakewood. They have a huge newly constructed facility. President and CEO of TMC has ties to Cleaver going back several years when his wife worked in the TMC administration. Also TMC exemplifies what can be done with ever decreasing Medicaid/Medicare subsidies.

It's not like Bush's plan really has anything to help solve the problem of the uninsured anyway. But it's got other serious flaws. Consider these facts.

The $15,000 level that the Bush administration calls a gold plated plan can also be readily achieved by simply being the right age in many states. In addition your insurance plan can cost that much if you have previously had an expensive to treat condition. Think of a growing part of our populace like cancer survivors.

In addition the plan is to index the amount to the standard rate of inflation. I can't remember the last time a health insurance plan hasn't increased in price that little. In fact health insurance for small businesses and individuals has been at least 4 times that in my experience for quite a few years.

Only people who are completely out of touch with what's really happening could come up with this plan.
