Mayoral candidate Mark Funkhouser is putting out more video on the Internets. Shortly after doing a YouTube interview with Tony’s Kansas City, Mark has started putting out his own stuff. He’s still one of the few candidates making any kind of meaningful attempt to engage voters via newer media. My only complaint is that his first two videos aren’t any longer than the typical TV soundbite commercial, so they don’t really take advantage of the opportunities available in that forum.

Valid criticism. What you see are the first installments of a 12-part series. So he covers a lot of territory. We just though it’d be more effective and useful to people if we’d keep each one short.
Plus, you have to take into account that he’s using the internet in a lot of ways — including posting all of his answers to the various screening committees around town. You can find those on his homepage.
