Did anyone ask each candidate who did NOT approve if that candidate would have voted for a TIF for that Briarcliff luxury hotel?</description>

It started when Funkhouser called the Reclaim Democracy TIF study an &quot;obscene indictment&quot; of those in charge of Kansas City. That may have been harsh, but in my view, it was accurate. What was cheep was when Albert Riederer retorted that Funkhouser had been in city hall for years, and hadn&#039;t done anything about TIF. That&#039;s completely true, but the lie of omission was that the city auditor has no authority to do anything about TIF, pro or con.</description>
