The City Council races haven’t received much attention, but here’s your chance to hear 3rd At-Large candidates Dee Williams and Melba Curls, the bright City Hall veteran vs. the East Side political dynasty.

    I don’t really know much about either of these candidates except that I’ve tried to talk with Melba Curls after two different forums. She didn’t seem to have time after either one. If she’s running for office and doesn’t have time to talk, then why should I believe should would have time once elected?

    I’ve emailed Melba on two different occassions and got no response to either of them. Dee responded very quickly. I’m with you, if they don’t have time to talk when the NEED me to vote for them, I have zero confidence that they’ll listen/respond to me once elected.

    The sad thing is, she’ll probably get elected simply based on her name recognition. The voting public really needs to wake up.

    The was a forum last night out south and Melba didn’t even show up. Of course, neight did Michael Brooks.
