I work downtown and I don't feel like a hostage. The yellowjackets passed out pamphlets that said to acknowledge panhandlers, and then say "no." It works. I have to go on record as supporting the street artists, too. Things can only get so boring before you just decide to stay inside all day. I agree about the Plaza panhandlers.
