Walking out in protest is no protest at all. It’s saying yes without going on record as saying yes. Why is it so darn hard for people to say no. If they had stayed and voted it would have been 5-4, still passed, but with at least some dissent.

I agree that the people of Missouri should be outraged. I like ChrisM70’s title. This is a clear breech of trust with the Missouri voters.

The article should have been more clearly labeled
“Lawmakers Fearful of Science Defy Missouri Voters”

Missourians should be outraged about this.
Of course, about 70% of Kansas Citians couldn’t even be bothered to go vote on who will run their city, so I don’t have much hope that they will challenge these morons.

I always vote, but this shit makes me wonder why I bother. Vote for something politicians don’t like? Why, they’ll just tell you no!
