I'm tired of having strollers roll across my feet and side stepping dogs........can't you please leave your dogs at home, I'm sure they're not enjoying the art! Have any of you heard of backpacks for your little ones? Keeps your hands free.......the aisles are just too small as it is for dogs and strollers!

I agree, dogs definitely don't belong at crowded events. I actually don't even feel they belong in cities, but dogs don't appreciate or buy art, so the reason to bring them to an art fair is.........I'm waiting..........

I really think dogs should be banned from these shows. I can accept strollers (although I'd rather not) and cell phones (bigger issue) but I really see no reason to bring dogs. Another blogger mentioned wanting to provoke the dogs to see how strong (and rich) the owners were. I think a nice passive aggressive protest is in order, next year let’s all rent a half dozen dogs each and go to the show.

Visited the art fair on Saturday, pushing someone who is wheelchair confined. Yes, there were a lot of people, but 99.9% of the crowd was very courteous and hospitable, as I usually find in KC crowds at events like this (where the consumption of alcohol is not the focus of the event). Parking . . . not living near a bus line . . . I had no problem. The school PTA was offering close parking in the school lots for a very reasonable $3. Now, if the rain will stop for a while, I might go back again today.

"frogger with the dogs and SUV-sized strollers?" Where's this sense of humor coming from? I like it! :-)

Seriously folks, come check out the art fair. It's great. And definitely take the MAX. There is no suburban-style parking.
