Cool Crest Sold

The venerable miniature golf and arcade institution on KC/Independence border at 40 Hwy has been sold to a California company that owns several similar businesses. The company says no major changes are planned.

Does this mean it goes from a local busines to a non-local corporate media channel and product delivery stream? I’m tempted to say this is sad on principle if this is the case.
