Today one of the first acts of the new City Council was an unanimous vote to repeal the Red Bridge Road condemnation ordinance passed in the final days of the previous council. They also directed the City Manager to hire an independent consultant to study the issue and evaluate all the alternatives.

That’s because this council doesn’t have an outside agenda. They actually believe in doing the right thing simply because it’s the right thing to do.
Again an opportunity has been taken to give Chuck Eddy’s sorry butt a public spanking—fortunately he ran for mayor (first opportunity) and now the new council has pushed his selfserving agenda on Red Bridge Road into the round file.
