Bloch Building

This weekend is your chance to finally get inside the Nelson-Atkins Museum’s new Butler Buildings - oops, I mean the Bloch Building. Saturday and Sunday will be packed with stuff do from 10:00 am to 9:00pm - including kids activities, presentations by the architects, performances by local musicians, and more.

To ease an expected parking crunch, shuttles will run from UMKC, Midwest Research Institute, and the Kauffman Legacy Park. The Nelson also has good bus connections. The MAX “Art Museums” stop is at 45th and Main, and the #57 South Oak stops at 47th and Brush Creek.

The #57-South Oak will also stop at 45th & Main…local buses honor all bus stops, it’s only the MAX that doesn’t recognize all of them…
