Outdoor movies seem more popular than ever these days.  Here are a few good ones to choose from…

Crown Center on Friday nights - upcoming films include Rocky, E.T., and Indiana Jones.

Independence Square in Wednesday nights - coming up are National Lampoon’s Vacation and Ghostbusters.  9:00 p.m. outside of the Pharaoh  Cinema (114 West Maple Independence, MO 64050).

Central Library rooftop -  The most unique outdoor cinema venue is the roof of  KCMO Public Library’s Central Branch.  Take in spectacular views of the city along with the movie.  Upcoming films in this monthly  series include King Kong, The Fly, and Time Bandits.

Hyde Park Children’s Film Festival - Every Friday in July in Midtown’s Hyde Park neighborhood.
