Avenue the Arts kicks off tonight with a party at the Folly Theater. The temporary public art pieces will be on display all summer along Central Avenue in the Downtown Loop.

Rhythm and Ribs combines two of the city’s most popular cliches - jazz and barbecue, with a three day music and food festival at 18th & Vine.

Browne’s Market, the Irish institution in Midtown’s Valentine neighborhood, is throwing itself a 120th birthday party this weekend. 33rd and Pennsylvania, between Broadway and Southwest Trafficway.

39th Street Art Walk is a monthly Third Friday event with art, music, and food in Midtown’s Volker neighborhood. West 39th Street between State Line Road and Southwest Trafficway.

The EarthRiders Mountain Bike Club is putting on a Family Day on Saturday where all members of the family can learn more about the sport of mountain biking.

    Hey - FuD at the Bad seed amrketin the Crossroads is really good. We went there last Fri night and had a great meal.

    Very limited menue, vegan, but very good.

    18th St. Fashion show was very good. Excellent crowd, ton of people.

    My favorite was the Johnny Depp/Ed Scissorhands runway guy.
