Butch Rigby, owner of the Screenland Theatres in the Crossroads and KCK, is adding a third. The Star reports that Rigby is purchasing the Paradise Theatre in North Kansas City. He plans to have it rehab and opened by May 2008.

north kansas city is the new kansas city. hopefully rigby will be able to do for NKC what hasn’t quite developed yet for downtown KCK (looks like the casino will probably take the credit).
Butch Rigby is a great guy, and I’m happy for his success. He goes out of his way to support all the right causes, and karma is smiling back on him.
