Overall I think this is a win for every political blog in Kansas City.
Information wants to be free.
I think more interest in KC politics translates to more interest in all blogs and differing viewpoints.
Also, I’m jealous. You write very succinctly and I wish I could have posted the same info with less verbiage.
it cost too much to join. It was free at one time.
I’ve always had a problem with them “withholding” information from regular star subscribers…seemed very wrong on a lot of levels. This is good for people to have access to political info…
is political news inherently more expensive to gather than other news? they never charged for the music, faith, TV, and gardening blogs.
Waaaaay past time for The Star to have done this.
Kudos to everyone that ripped The Star for this stupidity when it first happened.
I’m going to guess that now you’ll have to fight your way through those Java bubble ads for Verizon. Small price to pay though!
Everyone except the Star saw that coming.
