In October and November the KCMO Public Library, Park University, and the Liberty Memorial are organizing a city-wide book club called The Big Read. The subject is Ernest Hemingway’s A Farewell to Arms. The Big Read includes several neighborhood book discussion groups, as well as lectures and films about the Italian Front in World War I.
