Local businesses continue to setup shop around the outside of the chain-dominated Power & Light District. The latest is a live music venue called Crosstown Station at 1522 McGee Street. It’s a great location directly across the Loop from the Sprint Center, and the McGee Street bridge is likely to become a pedestrian bridge once construction is finished.

@BlogKC
They put a lot of thought into their website which is very impressive.
It looks like they’re trying to duplicate Minneapolis’ 1st Ave or The Bunker which would be very cool. I hope it works out for them.
This is good for the area. I hope KC brings enough music (hopefully national acts) to town to keep this new place going as well as the shows at Grinders.
Any confirmation on when they actually open? One spot on the web site says Oct 1, one spot says today, and in the corner it says November.
