I just double-checked that photo. Does anyone think it strange that the letters on the white banner are all straight - despite the fact that the kids are holding it and there are shadows on the paper?

Am I being paranoid or could this be a doctored photo? Now that would be story.

If those kids are from ISD, that is VERY inappropriate. The ISD School Board did not officially take any position on this measure. They would be very upset if this picture was taken at an ISD school.

My bet is that those kids are not from a ISD school at all - probably a Sunday school class from one of the churches that supported the measure.

More disgusting is the small children used holding up signs about an issue they can't even fully understand.
Way to go ISD, pimping our kids out for your cause.
That's insanity at it's finest, and really slimy.

Notice 10 grand off the top comes from Vic's political players, and then notice this: From the article "Kids Are Our Future has raised $60,254.31 since the committee was formed in August. That total includes a $30,000 donation from the 11th Senatorial Leadership Committee, which is Sen. Victor Callahan's election committee."

Which means another 30 Grand came from Political hand shaking, isn't it disgusting?

Here's the link to the numbers article:

It's not only lies, but misinformation, like people saying KC isn't accredited, there is also the fact it just came out the schools are corporate owned, and of course there is the simple fact that they have no real numbers, no real plans, and no real reasoning aside from people irritated they bought in the KC district, rather than doing some research first and buying a few blocks over.

Truly.
Emotionally driven, webs of lies, race, and a land grab.

Makes me sick.
