Yet another Phill Kline Scandal

KCTV-5 has a big investigation into the controversial Johnson County, KS District Attorney Phill Kline. It appears that Kline is only working part time, putting half the hours of comparable DAs in Kansas. It also looks like Kline does not live in the county, but rather commutes from Topeka while claiming a fleabag apartment in Stillwell as his “residence”. The latter allegation amounts to the D.A. breaking the law and could cost him his job.
But perhaps even more newsworthy than the Phill Kline investigation is that KC(Sleaze)TV-5 took a break their Internet perv patrol to do some real journalism.

Yet another scandal??
Some folks find Mr. Kline to be a douche colored zealot, but IMHO, many of ‘those scandals’ appear to be nothing more than histrionics meticulously manufactured by the kc (red) star.

Sure… The Star forced KCTV 5 to do a long investigation into Phil Kline.
Give me a break.
Kline is a conservative CRAZY who has no place in public office. He refused to represent everyone – he only represents the people that share his narrow view of the world.
AND The Star suggested to Kline to buy a house in Topeka while renting a Stilwell apartment he never uses. Do I understand you correctly?

Don’t forget the (Red) Star also suggested Phillllll relax, take it easy, and maybe spend more time with the family as JoCo Prosecuting Attorney. They were worried after seeing how he overworked himself as State AG.

I stand by my original statement concerning ‘those scandals’ which referenced past incidents, and have no bearing on ‘this scandal’, which appears to be another manufactured gotcha-piece-o-crap. (look, Ash-har. there goes another ambulance!)
Therefore, your accusations of the red star forcing or orchestrating efforts by sleaze TV-5 to do anything makes no sense.

You think it’s no big deal for the county’s Distric Attorney (the man charged with maintaining the LAW in the county) to be lying about where he lives?
Kline is a public figure who has a job where he is supposed to work to protect the people of Johnson County. Do you like having your tax dollars paying for his $100K+ salary when he only works half days? (that is if you are a resident of JoCo like me)
How anyone can defend Kline after all the stupid crap this guy has pulled is beyond me.

Isn’t it amazing that Republicans who are for conservative issues are anything but? They lie, spend LOTS of money (our money)…to the point of borrowing money from China, and have a complete disregard for the law (and constitution) which, by the way, is the closest thing that society has to divine justice. And Tim, I did look up Kleptocrat on Wiki and guess what, it reads like a Republican play book (Gasp!). Did you catch the part that says a Kleptocracy is a governmental form considered to be the result of declining and corrupt democracy?
Oh, but we were speaking of Phil Kline. He’s just another Bible carrying, baby saving, adult killer, liar hypocrite! Him and George Bush like to save babies and kill adults! Plus, I don’t know how any woman could vote for a party that says they are too stupid to decide against having an abotion. I guess when you are surrounded by stupid people all the time, like Republicans, you believe it’s pertinent to make laws regulating people’s lives because you cannot help but look at the idiots all around you.
I see the problem. Phillll has been spending time going after George Tiller, who isn’t even in Johnson County (or Topeka for that matter).
Now, George Tiller has “bought” KCTV5 with his blood money in a vindictive bid to destroy Phillllll. Nevermind Phillll’s breaking the law, or that the same folks would be forming a lynch mob if Philllll was a Democrat.
Can’t wait to see what the rightwing gas huffers come up with next.
As a resident of Johnson County KS (Overland Park), a tax payer and just a citizen I am shocked and deeply troubled by the KCTV investigation. I don’t watch TV too much and certainly have not heard about any Planned Parenthood investigations that Kline was invovled in. I am an atheist, but this clearly doesn’t mean I am prejudiced against any Bible Thumper (OK, I’ll forgive them that sin
) but the story has been pretty interesting and most importantly – Phill Kline appears to clearly have broken the law. Now, let’s check out how many hours he’ll spend in his office per week from the average 29 documented by Channel 5. It will be more than that -maybe he’ll put “superhuman” hours in as the Shawnee Attorney General said any AG should. I bet you anything, if you put a tail on Kline now, he’s sleeping in that crummy apartment on a matress now. Actually, I’d wager $10 there is not too much furnutre there – Phil Kline is a fiscaly conservative Republican
