Snow Day

Last week’s ice storm was not the end of the world, but tonight’s might be.  Present Magazine  has some great reader-submitted photos of last week’s snow for your to peruse in between Katie Horner’s weathergasms.

    We’ll see. Right now it looks like we could see a pretty decent ice storm. There are really 2 questions in the eyes of us meteorologists.
    1. Will we warm above freezing on Tuesday? - Right now this appears to be no, but a change of a degree or two is all it takes to change us to rain.
    2. Where will the heaviest precipitation fall? - The newest weather data hints at the highest totals across northern Missouri, yet still bring close to an inch of ice in the metro.

    I guess we can predict the future all we want, but only time will tell how it all pans out.
