@BlogKCWith no advance warning the city has closed West 31st Street between Main and Broadway. There is no official notice or press release from the Capital Improvements Management Office, but it looks like the project is scheduled to last until November of this year.
In the mean time, head south to Linwood Boulevard to get around the detour.
Yeah, that was quite a shock the other day. I hope that they adjust the left turn lights in the meantime.
