Now everyone can go back to not knowing that there even was a parks board.
I HATED her politics, but come on – it’s a committee that decides how to maintain and keep our parks pretty. I don’t really see how a person’s political leanings should even factor into the job.
“the controversial Minuteman militia leader”
Bvllshtt. She was no leader, simply a local member of a private national organization protesting that existing laws be enforced. A constitutional right.
And the only controversy is the convoluted bigotry drummed up by racist demagogues & their myrmidons from ‘the race’. Perverse irony.
Thanks for contributing to the hyperbole. & sensationalism.
Enjoy your slow melt back into obscurity, Francis!
History will not reflect well on the Star’s role in this. They were guilty of alot of “truthiness”.
If you ever need to write a resignation letter that really burns bridges, Frances Semler’s letter is an excellent example of how to do it.
That thing is a masterful blend of bitterness and looniness.
