Google gets up close and personal with river city
February 12, 2008 | 8 Comments
Google has just added KC to it’s Street View feature. After driving around the city with cameras, they now provide close up views for many parts of the local Google Map. The coverage includes most of the central city, KCK, NE Johnson County, a bit of Independence, and oddly all of the Northland outside the KCMO city limits.

Dang! If they woulda told me they was comin’ by to take pichers, I woulda prettied up the yard a bit.
This is simultaneously awesome and a little creepy. I’ve always wondered what Quindaro Boulevard looked like. Thanks google!
Good point, Chris. I’ve always wondered what Leawood looked like
Can’t wait to see what finds surface on the Google Street View Sightings Gallery Blog:

i’ll be able to see my restaurant in the Crossroads which I lost because I didn’t pay my bills
Umm…I don’t know Kerry Duffin, but I know the story and it’s not about “not paying bills”…Caliente was driven from the Crossroads by douchebag developer Brad Nicholson, and the above imposter is an asshole…bills had NOTHING to do with it. Brad Nicholson is a racist who claimed he didn’t want the restaurant there because “parking was too tight”…yet several other restaurants opened within a stone’s throw. Prick.
