Especially when the inflexibility is detrimental to the city. The Wayne Cauthen incident was handled very POORLY by Mayor Funk. Perhaps they have the same LACK OF SPINE as those sent to Washington, the ones who ran on a platform of ending the war and bringing accountability to government, but now in office - have done NOTHING. The Republicans might be perverts and crooks who unthinkingly march in lockstep, but they get things accomplished - even if those things are detrimental to democracy or contrary to logic. If only we could get politicians with true backbones to speak for THE PEOPLE. Are many of the KC politicos Democrats?
