I think Dallas would be the most likely location. Isn't Chicago a bit close to Milwaukee to be considered neutral?

They are talking headquarters, not breweries. It's unlikely that they'd relocate those, though I could see a new one being built here someday if the HQ did locate here. It's also just as likely that if they did build one here it would be for one of their attempts to compete with companies like Boulevard.

That's awesome! Miller makes High Life and PBR, which is all I drink except for occasional Boulevard. The only thing that would make my nectar taste better is if it was HQ'd in KC in direct compeition to the hoosiers at A-B.
Anyone care to comment about Pete Coors' peculiar political leanings?

I have serious mixed fealings about this. It'd be nice to have a new headquarters here. On the other hand, I've heard that microbrews are hard to come by in the A-B capital. In other words, what does this mean for my favorite home-town microbrew?

It makes sense to set the headquarters in KC - that way you can keep the product close to a highly reliable (and profitable) drunken customer base - also known as Chiefs' fans.

Of course, MillerCoors would have plenty of options for a location:

1.Perhaps they could move into the almost-empty Sprint "World Headquarters"™?

2. Maybe they could rent out some floors in the building of the layoff-crazy H&R Block?

3. Or, how about buying a warehouse from the bankrupt IBC bakeries?

But let's be honest - the most likely answer is that they could con the gullible citizens of Jackson County to pony up some TIF money to build them a brand new multi-million dollar place for free on some high-value land near the Plaza!
