Terry is Missouri’s most prolific serial killer, thought to be responsible for at least 13 deaths in the neighborhood around 25th and Prospect on the East Side. However, prosecutors only have enough evidence to pursue charges for seven of the murders.

There are worse punishments than death. Being kept in a cell until natural death, never seeing the light of day again, for example.

I just watched the programme first 48 and did you see how the family reacted whether she was a prostitute or not she was a daughter and a sister. I cant believe some people i agree with peaches your as bad with your vile comments as BLAIR, Cookie i think you and he should be banged up in the same cell and see what you make of him when he violates you and strips you of your dignity as he did with the ladies he assaulted and murdered and as for stepping up he was “CAUGHT” and quite rightly so, as i said before PUT THE NEEDLE IN HIS ARM and dont keep him on death row indefinetly once convicted without any reasonable doubt 2 /3 years on death row is long enough and it will cut down on the expense of feeding the loosers. i am from the UK and we have no death penalty though i wish we did, and just for the record PROSTITUES ARE HUMAN BEINGS BUT BLAIR IS AN ANIMAL

It is quite obvious that the person who said he stepped up to the plate and leave Blair alone has neve had a murder in his family or friends. The murder rate is climing so fast that soon everyone will know some one who has been murdered. You are a cold, evel person who maybe you have something to hide too.
All the evel will some day meet their maker and you will have to answer for that.
All i can say if your reading this Peaches you are as sick as him you obviously don,t care that the monster killed human beings whether or not they were prostitutes don,t make a difference. I am just catching up on the Blair debate and i am disgusted to think that there are some of you out there who think he should be spared, life without the possibilty of parole is favourable but then again its all you guys who work and pay tax who are paying to keep that animal alive, were as it only costs $85 dollars to execute him.
And as for all you people who think prostitutes dont matter well one day it could be your sister who makes a bad choice or falls on hard times and has to turn to prostitution to make ends meet and by chance run into an animal like Blair and dont live to tell the tale lets see how many of you would be so quick so slam them or say “OH NO” SPARE THERE KILLERS LIFE” Try and walk a mile in there shoes before you are so quick to condemn
i so agree with you Julieanna i am from London and we do not have srial killers on te scale that America does it must cost a pretty penny as we say here to keep locking these sick people up cos afterall many of them can,t be well to be doing these heinous crimes. I do not understand the mentality of such people who has been in this debate who has sympathy for this man its, obvious this man comes from a disfunctional family background but many a people do but they do not end up killing anyone because they hate them, but as i said a lot of these criminals have mental issues that has gone unnoticed and therefore this is their motive for hurting and killing people like prostitutes it,s a serious problem in such as vast country and the justice system must be overburdened with jails bursting at the seams with such like criminals its sad. There have been serial killers in the UK but not on the scale that there is in the USA, lets not forget about Peter Sutcliffe the Yorkshire Ripper or Rose and Fred West and of course Dr Harold Shipman, as we do not have the Death penalty here in the UK the above named were given life but as we all know life in the Uk seldoms means life except for Myra Hindley and Ian Brady however there crimes were so attrocious a death sentence would have been the best way to see justice served, Fred West and Dr Shipman both committed suicide so we will have no idea how long they would have served but then again there are the two teenage boys who murdered the baby in Liverpool and got released within 5-6 years and relocated with new identities and Maxine Carr again released and given a new identity and she aided huntly in the SOHAM Murders, I think The US has the right idea if there is no doubt put the needle in and save the TAX PAYER some money i don’t enjoy getting up at 0630 everyday so some murdering SCUM can have a cushy life in a UK Jail, the American JUdicial system has the right idea lock them up as in Huntleys case send him to H unit at Oklahoma State Pen and see how can live with his actions being deprived of Daylight and birdsong for the rest of his life, Terry Blair can still see the sun come up unfortuately his victims cannot so to all you bleeding heart liberals who think we should feel sorry for him and not EXECUTE ask yourself what if it was your sister?? would you really want to spare him the needle i for one most certainly would not.
I have seen the Terry Blair segment on the first 48 (one of my favorite shows) and got straight on the computer and started researching it. I was shocked to see the outcome of the tril. life without parole, wow.. I thoguht he was going to get the death penalty. I do not think it is fair how he “people” on trial and their lawyers have so much freedom in deciding the fate of a killer. The victims did not have a say when they got murdered their rights were taken away and in turn his should be too. But the justice system in the U.S. is not fair and just. I have seen/read cases that a bank robber get 25 years to life and a killer get 15 years, also people that rape a woman get 5 years and a theif get 15.. it just dosnt make sence and the courts definatly need to get their priorities straight.. Blair had already killed his childrens mother and got out in time to kill more people (prostitutes or not!).. But i try not to sweat it because i know that he “they” will get their true judgement day in time..
I just watched the First 48 Episode as well, so, like Fallon, I looked it up. How sad. It seems that if any case deserves the death penalty, this is one of them. Of course, we don’t know all of the details behind the scenes…there were questions about a film crew screwing up some evidence and some lost evidence. Perhaps a jury would not have gotten to hear the REAL story due to some unfortunate mistake…then he would just be back on the streets. He grew up in a life of violence and that’s all he knows. Better he be locked up for his entire life than nothing at all, I guess. I feel soooo sorry for the families of the victims, tho. I hope that they find some peace.
There should be no dialogue as to the fact that Terry Blair gets the death penalty he deserves it life imprisonent without the possibilty of parole is a good form of punishment for some killers but definetly not Terry Blair the way he murdered his victims and disposed of there bodies like they were garbage is in itself a vile way to end anyones life and he deserves to die in the most painful way possible not locked up in his cell were he gets three meals a day and medical attention when needed.

What Blair did was very bad and wrong. All women has the right to do with their bodies whatever they want,”BUT”no woman who is a prostitute has the right to marry,have a relationshp without telling the man what she is or was! Nor should she have a child! Noone knows if the man is one of those men who don’t accept,agree or can live with the idea that his mother or wife is a prostitute. Julieanna,I know you are very angry and hurt for what blair and other men did to other prostitutes. Why not put yor anger on all those prostitutes who gets pregnant and destroys their childs life,and on all those who gets into a relationship with a man and doesn’t tell him she is a prostitute. If a prostitute is not ashamed of being a prostitute,then tell the man who you want to marry or have a relationship with,that you are a prostitute. I will bet that the man will respect you for telling him before and not destroying his life after! You must know that not all men are born the same. All prostitutes and all the women who sympathizes with the prostitutes are very angry with Blair and all killers of prostitutes. We must also consider that. How many prostitutes who has sex with a drug addict with aids or with a homosexual who is bisexual and one of them gives them aids? Many prostitutes may not know that she has aids and has sex with men and give them aids. How many other prostitutes knowing they have aids and because they are angry with herself for being a prosttute or angry at all men for not finding a good man who will take her out of that life and give her eveything she wants. Many has sex with as many men that she can. This prostitute is a serial killer, she doesn’t only kill the man, but if he has a wife/girlfriend he gives her aids and if the woman gets pregnant the baby is born with aids. What does all the prostitutes who are very angry say about these prostitutes?
