Call the grammar police, and snap your photos while it lasts. The Monarchs baseball team was definitely plural, not possessive.

This is a photo of a new mural going up along Truman Road between Grand and Walnut, in the Power & Light District. It matches an earlier mural a block west. Both murals serve as temporary screenings to beautify giant blank walls that are supposed to one day be replaced with high rise housing along Truman Road.

The artist is a local guy, Alexander Anderson. Hopefully the Cordish company gave him flawed specs, but you would think someone talented enough to win such a big contract would have at least rudimentary grammar skills.

Typical Kansas City lack of intelligence.

Unless the original banner actually looked like that and they didn’t want to alter history. Its possible.

This would not have happened if it was a Royal’s or Chief’s mural.

Pretty sure the hyphen isn’t needed in this case.
