I did a search at Starbucks.com, and from zip code 64108, there are
SIXTY THREE (63) locations where you can get Starbucks coffee in a 20 mile radius.

Starbucks closed 4 stores and now there are "only" 59 and everyone is freaking out?

GET A LIFE.

Of course only one urban location is closing, which has another only a block away; the suburbanites are cutting out the expensive coffee to pay for gas (fools, it's the tip of the iceberg). Overland Park and other distant suburbs need to brace for the shock of their lives. There will be no contest between the cost of "private", "good" schools vs. the burden of trying to unload a crappy McMansion nobody wants to buy. The illusion of fabulousness on a budget means the death of the suburbs in the absence of cheap energy. None of the suburban homes will sell for close to their original price, let alone more. That's not just a bad investment, it's financial suicide.
