Walkable KC?

Let’s Go KC explains that while in general Kansas City ranks low for being a walkable city, several popular urban neighborhoods are just as walkable as the big guys like Greenwich Village in New York or Lincoln Park in Chicago.

    Pretty interesting. Obviously pretty flawed in that it doesn’t account for crime, or the fact that the grocery store close to me isn’t one anyone should ever shop at (and it’s certainly improving my neighborhood score). But it’s interesting nonetheless…

    I proudly walk or bus pretty much everywhere, which is kind of the point of living in any inner city. I don’t feel like an over-consuming douchebag, and I only ask for consideration from drivers (remember pedestrians always have the right-of-way).
