Air show this weekend

If you live anywhere between Vivion Road and the South Plaza you have probably already heard the Thunderbirds on their practice runs. This weekend the air show starts for real and runs all day Satuday and Sunday. If you are going to the show itself, don’t forget that there is no parking on site. Shuttles run from Briarcliff Village and Union Station. The Union Station shuttle is the only one that is handicap-accessible, and you can catch it at any bus stop along Grand Blvd between the station and 7th Street.
Or if you just want to see the aerial displays, there will be great viewing at places like Case Park on Quality Hill, Obersvation Park on the Westside, Berkley Riverfront Park, the River Market, or Kaw Point in KCK.
