Election tomorrow

Tuesday is a primary election day.  While there a lots of big state-wide races like Governor, Attorny General, etc. some of the local races are the most heated.

House District 40 (Northeast) – Incumbent John Burnett is fending of a third challenge from JJ Rizzo in the Democratic primary, amid allegations of a very negative and false mailing from Rizzo at the last minute.

House Districtt 44 (Waldo/Red Bridge) – A very heated three-way race for the Democratic nomination is lighting up the local the blogosphere with battles between supporters of lobbyist Amy Coffman and Army veteran Jason Kander.

In Johnson County, the race for District Attorney features yet another chapter in the Phill Kline soap opera, and a controversial law enforcement sales that will determine if JoCos are willing to tax themselves for anything other than schools.

    I wonder how many people actually know that there is an election tomorrow.

    All I know of tomorrow’s election is that for about 2-3 weeks I got gigantic annoying Burnett or Rizzo mailings in my mailbox every freaking day.
