It still amazes me how many newspapers are spending millions of dollars on new full-color presses in hopes that something shiny will bring more readers.
Until the Star and other news organizations realize that their internet offerings need to be more than a supplement to their traditional offerings, they’ll continue to suffer. Make the internet equal if not more important than the physical paper, figure out how to sell the internet to make it a viable revenue stream, and steam ahead.
