JoCo Commissioner caught breaking the law
October 28, 2008 | Comments Off
There isn’t an election that goes by without at least a few problems with campaign signs being stolen or vandalized. But out in Olathe, KS someone has actually been caught on video doing the deed. And in a stunning twist it’s the candidate himself who has been caught red handed, incumbent Johnson County Commissioner John Toplikar. Toplikar was caught on tape by the wife of challenger Calvin Hayden. Olathe Police have charged Toplikar with misdemeanor theft, so it will be interesting to see how this effects the election, and if the Johnson County Commission will take action against a criminal amongst them.
