Jim Nutter, Bob Lewellenn, and some nutty car wash owners aren’t the only special interestes opposed to the light rail plan. A new grass roots group of regular folk has emerged. Citizens Opposed to Workable Solutions (C.O.W.S.) is making some very persuasive arguments about why voters should turn down rail and keep the Cowtown status quo. This humble group of average citizens has produced a high tech web site using the latest Intertubes audio and video. They have certainly upped the ante for the city officials and transit supporters trying promote the rail plan.

I heard about that one group bringing a steer/cow to city hall to protest the light rail proposal… that one takes the cake!
I’m opposed to light rail solely because it doesn’t serve me at all. The closest mass transit route goes from 110th and Parallel to 47th and Parallel (nowhere close to where I work or live).
