Weekend: Westport turns 175 and WaterFire returns

Head into Westport on Saturday for a big celebration of its founding 175 years ago. There will be lots of old-timey music, dancing, crafts, history, exhibits, etc. It sounds like Santa-Cali-Gon Days, but without the mullets and stirrup pants. www.westport175.com
Then stay around for the return of WaterFire along Flush Brush Creek on Saturday evening. This unique event features dozens of bonfires on the creek and is accompanied by music, dance, and food.
