Bring em on. I am so tired of hearing the threat that the state will take over and all you know what will break loose. The state took over St Louis and what have they done there? Nada.

The truth is no one knows how to fix our failing urban schools. There is no magic remedy and the state knows that.

Our schools are only as excellent as the communities they serve. Until we address social issues, especially poverty and crime, we won't be able to do much to help our schools.

If a state takeover means getting rid of all of those idiots on the schoolboard, then bring it on. They are some of the most unprofessional, selfish people I have ever seen...and to think they are in charge of supplying an education to the children of KC is obscene. How can they even show their faces in public knowing how ridiculous they are...???
