Swine flu arrives in KC

Last night Missouri Governor Jay Nixon announced that Platte County has a probably case of swine flu, the first in the KC metro area and the state of Missouri. Northlanders, brace for an invasion of TV news crews!

And Tony’s Kansas City points out the irony of the swine flu turning up in wealthy, gringo Platte County just as the newsfolk were trolling for it in the Mexican-American community on the Westside.
