I volunteered with him a few times. He was warm, kind and very funny. His death is an absolute tragedy. It really doesn't matter what his condition was when he was hit. Every day it is my responsibility not to hit things with my car. It goes the same for Daniel's murderer. The Judge in this case has demonstrated once again that justice in the USA has long ago been bought and sold. We all know that countless others of less means would be in jail for a long, long time after committing such an awful crime. I bet the murderer in question has his license back in less than a year, and a brand new car from Daddy. I knew Daniel. I volunteered with him a few times. He was warm, kind and very funny.
