Chocolate superstar Christopher Elbow is branching out into ice cream with Friday’s opening of Glacé Artisan Ice Cream. The new shop is in the South Plaza at 4960 Main Street, on the same block as Accurso’s, Spin Pizza, and Planet Sub.

Beerfest runs out of beer

Last week we were stoked for the KC Beerfest’s move to Midtown, but it didn’t go so well. KC Beer Blog reports that the fund raiser for the KC Free Health Clinic ran out of beer, apparently due to beer distributors reneging on commitments of donated beer.
